Questions & Answers

  • When do I need to RSVP by?
ASAP - we'll need final numbers by 30th November 2022 If you don't feel that you can confirm your attendance by this date, please let us know as we need to book transport and catering etc...
  • What days should I come to/am I invited to?
You're invited to all the days The main event (i.e. us saying soppy things to each other and then snogging as married people) is Saturday midday. So if you can only make one day, we recommend it being the Saturday
  • What is the dress code?
Friday 🍺 Pub garden vibes 🍷 We'll just be hanging out and catching up, meet some of the other folk at the wedding Saturday 🚫 Don't wear a white dress 👰 Think cocktail attire, just don't wear heels unless you are happy walking on soft ground in them! Feel free to bring something fancy for the ceremony and then something for festival vibes for the evening Sunday 🧹Cleaning and moving things 🧽 If you're around on Sunday you got two options: Help us clear stuff away Run away before anyone else sees you abandoning us
  • What's this about a tattoo van?
We are having a fully licensed tattoo artist, and their van attend the wedding We need to know numbers because if there are more people interested than they can physically tattoo then we'll have to do a raffle for tattoo spots :) So please let us know on your RSVP if you want one It'll be a small tattoo, think 30 minute session. And the options will be from a design sheet, although you may be able to make changes or bring your own design They won't tattoo you if you are obviously drunk and they must see ID

  • Wedding gifts, you want them?
The main reason we are getting married is because we are so disgustingly in love with one and another, not for the gifts. We have our home, along with all the appliances, cutlery and questionable decorative items we need. What we would absolutely love instead of any money, gifts or cards (please no cards) is to raise money for Coppershell Farm Sanctuary. They are a local (to us) animal rescue and rehoming sanctuary located in Corsham, Wiltshire. They are a registered charity and have worked tirelessly over the years to build a safe and welcoming Sanctuary for neglected, abandoned or unwanted animals. Here's what they do for our animal friends: Rescue Work alongside other rescues and authorities to offer a safe space for animals in need Veterinary Care Coppershell Farm Sanctuary arrange veterinary care for animals that need it. They never put a healthy animal down Provide Shelter All Residents live happily at Coppershell Farm Sanctuary until they are able to find their forever home Adoption From vetting to aftercare, they work hard to ensure their Residents go on to find their perfect forever home Donate here
  • Can I bring the kids?
If your invite specifically says that your children are invited then yes. This is an adult event (not in that way),it just isn't designed for children, children cannot run around the woods, they need to be surveilled at all times. There is also a self serve bar and fridge full of alcohol that is not in any way attended to. The entertainment is for adults and may contain some rude words... So you see, I recommend getting a child minder and enjoying the weekend with us If you feel your invite should have included children and it did not, please message one of us :)
  • Can I bring my dog / support lizard?
Unfortunately not Chewie will be there as our ring bear(er), it's quite a small area where we will be and Chewie will just get stressed out with other animals there
  • Can we stay in our campervan?
Yup, we love you vanlifers! You can't access the camping area with a vehicle so you'll be sleeping in the car parking area which is all of a 3min walk from the camping area
  • Why is the invite paper weird?
Your invite is printed on plantable paper, so if you're not the type of person to keep hold of every single wedding invite you've ever received, you can just plant this one Instructions: Plant them in Spring/Summer when it's warm Soak the paper in water and tear into small pieces Place in a pot of compost and very lightly sprinkle more compost on top Keep the soil and paper moist (but not soaking wet) in a warm and light environment Once your small plants have grown, place pot outside or keep on a window that has lots of ☀️
